My Story
"A sensory experience can trigger a rush of memories" -- specifically our sense of smell. Our sense of smell is so closely linked with our memories, those that have lapsed over time and others that we seem to have forgotten.
For me, my Scentsy journey dates back to 2012. In the fall of that year, I fell in love with Scentsy. You could even say it was "love at first smell." I was visiting a friend's home and I remember being so intrigued by the beautiful, clean and elegant smell of her home. My initial inquiry was whether she shopped and Bath & Body Works (BBW) and to my surprise she shook her head and shared her secret that it was "Scentsy."
From then on, I was hooked. Prior to my introduction to Scentsy, I was an avid BBW and Target shopper and would spend hundreds of dollars on different products. Everything changed when I was introduced to the Scentsy melt wax. The fragrance were unique and were all placed in the cutest warmers.
Fast-forward to 2020 and the dreadful COVID-19. I found myself "stuck in the house, in the house bored," when I wasn't working remotely and catering to my second full-time job as a "Mommy." Like many other families, I took the opportunity to clean and reorganize my home. Of course I took tips from "Let's Get Organized," and other Netflix specials like "Marie Kondo," and "Queer Eye" to reorganize and de-clutter. But something was missing.
"It was Scentsy." While browsing the internet trying to find other brands of melt wax, I came across my long lost "love at first smell." I noticed that not only did they offer a wider variety of scented melt wax, but they expanded their line of products to items they did not have back in 2012! Essential oils, car fresheners, laundry items, you name it. Scentsy had it. Let's just say Scentsy and I re-kindled the long lost flame from 2012.
I love these products so much that I took it one step further and decided to become a consultant and join Scentsy in September of 2020. I decided to join because I LOVE their products and the feeling it brings when I enter my home. I LOVE being able to have difference scents for the day, especially with the holidays coming up. Just the idea of having festive scents that fit the season and/holidays adds the missing "touch" to my home. Who doesn't love when guests compliment the smell of your home? I LOVE IT and I know you will too.
